An Achievable Dream – December 2025
We’re proud to support Achievable Dream with a donation of $6,609.16, raised to benefit their emergency funding program for families. As part of AAD’s holistic approach to education, these funds help provide wraparound services and personalized support that address immediate financial challenges while promoting long-term stability and well-being. Whether families are navigating unexpected hardships or ongoing obstacles, Achievable Dream ensures they have access to the resources, care, and community connections needed to overcome adversity and thrive.
Food Drive for Thrive Peninsula and Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore – November 2025
We are pleased to announce that our recent donation drive successfully collected a total of 297 pounds of food for local food banks. In Newport News, we contributed 159 pounds to THRIVE Peninsula, while in Chesapeake, we donated 138 pounds to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this important cause!
The Bra-ha-ha Fundraising Event – August 2025
During the month of August we partnered with Brooks and our community to raise funds for the Bra-ha-ha. In total we raised $6706.47 which will provide free mammograms and other services to uninsured and underinsured residents of Hampton Roads.
HER Shelter – July 2025
We’re proud to partner with Balega to support the HER Shelter, an organization that provides safety, support, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence. Thanks to this partnership and the generosity of our community, we were able to donate over 75 pairs of high-quality socks to those in need.
An Achievable Dream – July 2025
With the support of On, we donated 200 pairs of shoes to students at An Achievable Dream-our largest one-time product donation to date! Thanks to this partnership, students across both the Peninsula and Southside campuses will benefit from high-quality footwear to support their success.

$5 5K with Girls on the Run – May 2025
We had a great time celebrating our 14th anniversary with Girls on the Run at our group runs! 🎉 Thanks to you, we raised $4,807.15 for Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run uses evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
Virginia 24 Hour Run for Cancer Aid Station – April 2025
We sponsored the aid station for the Virginia 24 Hour Run for Cancer. We were happy to partner for this great cause to bring awareness and raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Edmarc Run Local Partnership – December 2024
Through shoe and monetary donations, $5 5Ks, Run Local gear purchases, and support from Brooks Running and ASICS, we have raised an amazing $6,895.07 for Edmarc!
Local families facing pediatric illness will receive the compassionate care and support they need. Your kindness truly makes a difference in our community!

An Achievable Dream – December 2024
We donated 59 pairs of shoes to An Achievable Dream – a nationally recognized K-12 program. The program is committed to the belief that all children can succeed and learn, regardless of their socioeconomic background. An Achievable Dream fulfills this through their commitment to provide social, academic, and moral education. An Achievable Dream operates six schools within the Peninsula and Southside, and we are thrilled to continue our partnership with them.
