Our Custom Fit Process

We believe that there is no one-size-fits-all as runners and walkers come in all shapes and sizes. Enjoy our customer fitting process when you are ready - no appointment is required.

Gait Analysis Process

There is no one-size fits all! Runners and walkers come in all shapes and sizes. Experience our custom fitting process and find the perfect fit for you.

Step 1

To begin, your Running Consultant will get to know you a little more by asking a few questions that may include understanding your current goals, activity level, current shoes, and any other pertinent information.

Step 2

Using our Currex Monolith machine, we will gather information as you walk across the mat. This system uses thousands of sensors to gather data and give feedback on cushioning and support needs. Although this process is open to everyone it can be modified depending on what you are most comfortable with.

Step 3

We will review these results with you as we gain insight on your arch type, pressure points, and more.

Step 4

Next, we will watch you walk or run on the treadmill for 15 to 20 seconds. We’ll record this from a safe distance from behind the treadmill.

Step 5

When you are done we will play this back in slow motion and give you feedback on what we are seeing.

Step 6

Using the brannock device, we will measure the width, length, and arch of each of your feet. Ultimately, we will gather all of this information together to help determine what category of shoes is best suited for your needs.

Step 7

It is now time to try on shoes! We’ll bring out several from different brands for you to try out.

Step 8

Finally, we will check your size and make any adjustments as needed. We want you to feel confident in your purchase and leave knowing you made the right choice for you!
