    General Manager

After graduating with a degree in Biology in 2006 from ODU, Andrea found herself in the world of real estate and property management, working alongside her Dad, Glenn. Running became a fun hobby starting in 2007 when she started with a a simple 5k that led to countless longer distances and ever-evolving goals. When Point 2 opened in 2011, it only seemed natural for her to once again work with her Dad. She began managing the store in the fall of 2011 and came to realize that serving the runners and walkers on the Peninsula was a true passion. She takes great pride in the cast and crew that work alongside her and believes that at Point 2, there is something for everyone no matter where their fitness level is at. She resides in Newport News, with her husband, Lee daughter, Olivia and dog, Bentley.

Her first race was the Shamrock Half Marathon in 2013 and her goal that year was to just finish. Since then, she has run in many more races spanning various distances and finished her first full marathon, Marine Corp Marathon in October 2014 and is now training for her second Marine Corp Marathon and first Disney Marathon. Dawn is studying to become a registered nurse, and is a mom of three wonderful young adults. Ken

        Assistant Manager, Technology Buyer

While in college Ken was an avid rock climber and mountaineer, tackling some of the most technical routes in Virginia, West Virginia, and even out in the Rockies. After he graduated from Radford University with a BS in Geology in 2013 he moved back to Hampton and found that there was a void in his life, so he filled it with running. He dusted off an old pair of running shoes from high school and began running daily. Eventually he found himself in Point 2 picking out his first proper pair of running shoes, which is where he also learned about all the local running events. Since then he has completed numerous races from 5k’s to half marathons, and even his first marathon (Richmond in 2014). He has goals of completing numerous marathons, ultra marathons, and hopefully qualifying for Boston in the distant future.

A basketball player all of her life, Jackie took up running in college as a way to stay in shape. Catching the runner’s ‘high’ Jackie ran the Modesto Marathon in 2015 and qualified for Boston. Shortly afterwards, she pursued her master’s degree in Seattle, while training and running the 2016 Eugene Marathon. Jackie met and married her best friend from the cross country team and moved to Virginia with him in June 2016. She loves learning about their running goals, and also enjoys talking about training plans and nutrition.
